The Book!

Larry Jones and Michele Boldrin
Larry and I do quite some teaching together,
so he deserves a picture quotation ...
Yeah, I look more stupid than usual in this one ...

Past Students

I was on sabbatical from Spring 2002 to Fall 2003. And what I taught during 2003-2004 and 2004-2005 is pretty much the same I am teaching this year (2005-2006).

By the way, the lecture notes below are really old ... sorry about that.
One day or another, if we ever get going, maybe Larry Jones and I will write a decent textbook about Dynamic General Equilibrium Theory, and its applications ...

The Book Reading Club  .... may be staging a come back this year! Stay tuned ...

Tim, Ed, and I  started this group in 2001 and run it for two years. The purpose is reading and discussing books which are not "usual economics classroom" material and, also, books that the average economist is not supposed to care much about.  We are looking for stimulating ideas or facts, points of view other than ours and analytical approaches we had not figured out or considered yet. That means reading a lot from other disciplines, especially in the social sciences, but not only. Then I went on sabbatical, and the book club died out ... we have not resurrected it yet.

Maybe I will, why not? I like books ...
