But: Tim Kehoe's idea was that this was just a practice game for hitters
like Jan Werner and Michele Boldrin to get warmed up.... Pitching change (Narayana "Pedro Martinez" Kocherlakota took the mound) and off we were to the 3 inning real game. What followed was a no score 1st inning.

2nd inning Heller's Angels took the lead on a two out single.
Bottom of the third Nominal Irrelevance got a base hit with 2 out. Larry "Mark McGwire" Jones took the bat and slammed a ball down the third base line....FOUL BALL!!! (Well, right over the left fielder's head.) But: Tim Kehoe was quick to declare a two run homer and claimed the game was over!!! Since there was no ref, Nominal Irrelevance claimed the victory. Heller's Angels did not protest too much, since we all hope that the faculty will come back next year again. -- Thor Koeppl
