Regents Professor Emeritus John Chipman received his Ph.D. from Johns Hopkins University in 1951. He teaches in the areas of Econometrics, International Trade, and Welfare Economics. Professor Chipman's current research involves theoretical and econometric research in international trade and history of utility theory.
