Professor José-Víctor Ríos-Rull received his Ph.D. from the University of Minnesota in 1990. He teaches in the areas of macroeconomics and labor. Professor Ríos-Rull's areas of research include the distribution of wealth and its effects on the macro-economy, and the politico-economic determinants of capital and labor taxes. He holds the Carlson Chair in economics.
