The University of Minnesota had 391 applicants for 21 positions in the program for Fall 2009. We made 64 offers of admission. Over 90% of these students were offered financial support by the University of Minnesota and the other 10% had fellowship support through a third party. The mean GPA of admitted students who attended a U.S. university was 3.85/4.0 and the mean GRE scores of admitted students were 650 Verbal, 790 Quantitative and 5.0 Analytical Writing sections.
