Pictures from London and Minneapolis

This is the last UCL's 2000 Class MSc in Economics dinner. I far as I remember it was in a Turkish restaurant located in Angel at the end of August 2000. In the picture you can see: on the left Lily and Anne-Claire respectively. On the RHS you see Antonio and Anne-Claire's boyfriend.

This picture was also made in the same dinner. Here you can see Oscar (center) and Alfonso (right).

This picture was taken few days before my departure from London (August 2000). From left to right you can see: Renata, myself drinking a pint of Guinness, Antonio screaming in my ear. On the right you see Ada and Alfonso drinking a pint of John's Smith. The photo was taken in the famous "Postmen's Pub", somewhere in Center London close to Gray's Inn Road, Wren Street and Langton Close.

Picture taken in front of Waterstone's Bookstore at Gower St (London). I remember that we were coming back from the ULU (University of London Union). From left to right: Renata, Oscar, Orlando, Miguel and Carlos.

He is Miguel E. Pecho. One of my friends while I was in London.

He is Oscar J. Arce. PhD student at the LSE. He likes Macroeconomics and Monetary Economics. He works on Hiperinflations.

This is downtown Minneapolis. It is the view that I had from my desk in the office 933 (Heller Hall, U of M). In the background you can also see the famous Metrodome Stadium. It is there where the Vikings (NFL team) play, Twins (Baseball team) and the Gophers football team play. Click picture for high resolution photo.

From left to right you can see Nicolas (from Chile), Julian (from Ecuador) and Fanchang (from Wuhan, Hubei, China). This picture was taken when we were first year PhD in Economics students.

This is one of the famous Friday's happy hours. This time it was subsidized by Beth Allen. It was just after the Micro midterm... From left to right you can see: Sebastian, Jyoti, Alexander, Julian and Maria-Fernanda, Stanley and Beth Allen, my self, K. Makarski, Nicolas, and Mark.  Click picture for high resolution photo.  

The picture was taken just after a dinner in Key Wok (west bank Vietnamese restaurant) (first term, first year). I have already described most of them. The guy with yellow coat is Conan. On the right of Conan you see Sue. On the right of Sue you see Qian (now in U of Michigan). By the way, the guy with a big blue coat in the last row is Michael Bar.
