Welcome

This climbing page is under heavy construction.

Welcome to my Climbing Page. If you can see the Jpeg image above you can get a view of a route I hope to eventually climb in Yosemite. The NW Face Regular Route follows a line just to the right of the left edge of the Face as pictured above. Originally, climbed as 5.8 A2 in 5 days, it is now occasionally climbed as 5.12 in one day. This route can be done as a 5.8 with one pendulum traverse and only two other relatively short sections of aid. There are good bivy ledges 1/3 and 2/3 of the way up. Access is more arduous than El Cap routes, as Half Dome requires a long hump with your wall-gear to the base of the climb. Drop me a line if you are interested in climbing the NW Face Regular Route or other classics.

If you enjoy climbing, and want to continue to be able to climb beautiful areas outdoors, check out the Access Fund. They sensibly negotiate with landowners and managers to preserve climbers` access to crags in North America. They also have sponsered cleanups, maintainence and education to keep climbers` reputations good, to preserve the environment for itself and climbing.
